This is a sculpture that I have had to do for my Sculpture for Animation module, which I first made the design for. I started the design by making a skeleton on posing it the way that seemed the zombie-like, from the research I had collected. Then I had the flesh and detail to the piece, which gave  me the design that I am showing.
Next, I am the metal structure that would support the clay. When making the actual sculpture I decided to work down upwards and left the head for last, because it was the most detailed and difficult part of the sculpture. All in all the piece came out quite well.

Class work

Today I had to make a presentation on my animation, to show my storyboard and what I am going to do for the 15 second animation.
This project (among others) is about creating my own character, for my own children TV Show, and I have to animate 15 seconds of the introduction to this show. It is very interesting, I like that we get to work with are own characters because you get to put some of yourself into it. Though it is hard sometimes thinking of something original and appealing, but I really love my character. This character is special to me because I designed it when I was younger and now I get to work on it, develop it to its potential and bring it to life.

This is my character, it's name is Percy Plufflez. It is the monster under the bed, but this one is friendly.

The Beginning

This is my very first post, on my very first blog, exciting huh. I have created this blog so that people can look at the work that I have created, from my course in Animatiion, to some of my own work that I have done in my free time.
